Military Teen Adventure Camps

Welcome to our KY MTAC page!  We are super excited to announce that we are able to offer summer camps for military families in 2025!  Military parents (service member or spouse) and their teenage children (ages 13-19) are invited to attend exciting adventure camps together. Everything, including equipment, lodging, food and transportation allowances, is included! These camps are not only fun, they offer an incredible opportunity for military parents and their teens to reconnect and make memories that will last a lifetime!

*There is a $60 registration fee for each participant that will only need to be paid if admitted to a camp (includes a t-shirt, or water bottle, etc.). Aside from this, the camp is completely free to all military family members.

*Also, there will be no early exiting camp this year (unless unplanned emergency). Please do not sign up if you have plans to leave camp early for any reason! Thanks

2025 Summer Camp Registration will open on April 17th at 1pm (est)!

2025 MTAC CAMPS:

Ocoee Whitewater Rafting, and Outdoor Adventure  – Ocoee, TN;
Dates: July 11-14, 2025

ACE Whitewater Rafting, Climbing,  Rappelling and Outdoor Adventure  – Oakhill, WV; 
Dates: July 25-28, 2025

PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE REGISTERING OR CONTACTING CAMP STAFF!

  1. This is a first come first serve camp. It is encouraged to sign up as fast as possible as slots will go quickly!
  2. KY MTACs are open to Active Duty, Guard, Reserve, Coast Guard, DoD Civilian, and Veteran/Prior service families only (if you do not meet this criteria please do not apply)!
  3. If your family has been to camp in 2023 & 2024 you will be waitlisted automatically. (Even if you secure a slot in the system, you will not be permitted to camp until we contact you and verify that you have been admitted. Please understand that our funders have requested we do this to help new families have opportunities to camp with us)
  4. If you are a returning family, you should be able to use your email and Regpack account from past years.
  5. Please be advised you will need to register each participant in your family (as a camper).  This includes 1 adult (only) and any teens that meet the age requirement (13-19).   * Just completing the initial registration does not register the adult as a camper, please make sure you register each camper that you intend to come to camp and assign a camp to their cart!
  6. The initial registration is to apply for the camps. Once you are admitted, additional registration information is required after your admittance.
  7. You will only be able to register for 1 camp. (priority will be given to those who have not been to any MTAC before)!
  8. You will be notified by email and or by the KY MTAC team if admitted to camp. At that time, you will be instructed to finish the registration process.
  9. Please allow up to 2-3 business days before contacting the MTAC team about the status of your registration (Our office is open M-F).  Please trust we will do our best to get back with you in an reasonable timeframe.
  10. If you have questions or need any help (besides the status of your family’s application) please feel free to contact us!
  11. Upon submission of your application, please be aware that you may follow-up emails and or phone calls, as we may need further information regarding your application.

 

Please remember these notes as you register:

  • We do not suggest registering from a mobile device. Using a laptop/computer or larger device leads to an easier experience.
  • For each participant (1 adult + teens) there must be a camp in their cart (if you don’t add camps to each participant, we cannot promise you a spot).
  • The system will not allow you to pay and fully register before the MTAC camp staff admit you. No need to call us, we will inform you if you have been approved.
